A Letter from Our Founder and President
Technology is a double edged sword - if you use it and it goes down you've got problems, but if you don't use it in a competetive market, your productivity suffers compared to your competitors and again, you've got problems. Taking a balanced approach to finding the technology that fits YOUR needs is important, not what fits someone else.
Which brings up another issue. The word "competitor". While there is no getting around the fact that businesses compete with each other for their share of the market, a long standing cultural norm in the business world is and has been "I win, you loose" or "You win, I loose."
I would like to introduce a different concept. "I win, you win." In the new economy in which we operate, it is very hard to go it alone. More and more businesses - (otherwise known as the ones that survive) - have learned that the dog-eat-dog world has become much more cooperative than in times past. Our new word for today is collaboration. |

Nowhere else will you find this to be more true than with small businesses, non-profits and smaller organizations of any other kind. Unfortunately, these are also the groups that generally have the hardest time embracing collaboration as a new way of operating. Smaller organizations have much to gain from working together. Networking, shared resources, shared knowledge, greater market coverage, and let us not forget better customer service. The more equipped and connected your organization is, the better you can serve your customers - and keep them coming back.
Many may get stuck on issues of market share. The operative word in that statement is "SHARE". We as a society embrace the truths that we learned in kindergarten - play nice, wipe your feet, and share. But some have a tendency to want to take more than their share - to corner the market to put it another way. To become blinded my taking everything is to become isolate and doomed to eventually fail. While it is of the utmost importance that you move forward, remember "the little guys" that may very well have something to offer, and something to gain. In a tough market, competition is stiff and consumer dollars won are hard fought, but that is all the more reason to work together. You gain a better understanding of businesses that offer the same products and services that you do, and they have a better understanding of your business as well. The end product is a stronger, more sustainable industry, with plenty of quality enhancements for the customer.
Our approach is simple, we will make money, from many people, over time, not off solely off of a few people in a short time. We will help a lot of people, do a lot of things, and do a lot of good along the way.
Embrace the future. Work together, and watch you business, and your humanity grow.
